The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Joshua A. Ramsey, 19, from Defiance, Ohio, died Dec. 12 in Baghdad, Iraq, from non-combat related injuries. Ramsey was assigned to the 95th Military Police Battalion, Mannheim, Germany.

The incident is under investigation.
