The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. Kelly S. Morris, 24, of Boise, Idaho, died March 30, in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained from enemy small arms fire. Morris was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 3nd Infantry Division from Fort Stewart, Ga.
