The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Pfc. Joseph G. Harris, 19, of Sugar Land, Texas, died May 3 at Forward Operating Base Warrior, Afghanistan.His death is under investigation. Harris was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
