The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Clint E.Williams, 24, of Kingston, Okla., died on Sept. 14 of injuries suffered in Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.
Williams was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
